This event is part of the Manitoba Optimist Traveller Series events! Optimist sailors can learn to race in clubs across the province with coaching from the Provincial Optimist Coach, Claire Holliday. If you want to represent your club in the series, join us at the other events across the province. For more information, subscribe to the Sail Manitoba newsletter.
The Optimist Traveller Training day is from 9am to 4pm.
This training day also includes a barbecue on Saturday evening for Optimist sailors and their families.
Join the Prairie Regional Training Centre for an exciting High Performance Training Camp at the beautiful Gimli Yacht Club on the fantastic Lake Winnipeg. These camps are tailored for sailors and coaches who are ready to take their performance to the next level.
This event is being planned with the Cadets program and will allow participants to take part in their annual Summer Sail event.
Registration is open to racing athletes in ILCA and 29er classes. Participation will give the opportunity for participants to be evaluated at the CANSail 5&6 level.
